About Us

We, at KMP models, came out with our first kit, the HO scale yarder, in 1993. Since then we've added N scale, O scale, and more HO scale and S Scale bringing our current line to 28 craftsman kits. More kits are on the drawing board.

We are a family-owned company, designing and making nearly everything, including the molds and the castings, in-house. Only the Fast Tracks-Mt. Albert Lumber, the Tichy Train Group details, and the corrugated roofing are buy-outs.
